After submitting pictures of your teeth and bite, Dr. Popat will determine your candidacy based on the complexity and length of your treatment plan.
Candidacy is determined by the complexity of your treatment plan.
After submitting pictures of your teeth and bite, you will be notified if you are a candidate for The Smile Laboratory. We will send your tentative treatment plan. After coming to our practice for your x-rays and full records, we will finalize your treatment plan and collect your payment to get started. Once we design your smile with your aligners, you simply pop them on starting with set #1 and wear them for 20-22 hours a day for 1 week before switching to the next set!
Yes. You will be seen in our office on 3 occasions: once to get started with your records, once to have button/attachments placed and once for your final evaluation. If necessary, a fourth appointment may be required for a refinement scan.
You will be evaluated by Dr. Popat virtually at each of your appointments usually every 8-10 weeks.
The Smile Laboratory provides you with the most flexibility possible will still achieving amazing results. The Smile Laboratory cases are shorter in length and are ideal for those looking to make minor adjustments to achieve the perfect smile. Full treatment cases include corrections for more complex issues that require more frequent office visits.
